AI & advice disclaimer
Betty Marlow is an AI character. She is not a real person. Her face, voice and videos are generated with AI tools, and her story (Dayton, Ohio, forty-one years of payroll, Earl and the grandchildren) is fiction written to give her a point of view. Every video is labeled as AI-generated on the platform where it's posted, and every profile says so.
The math is real. Betty's scripts and workbooks are written by people and AI tools together and cover standard budgeting basics: reading a pay stub, matching bills to paychecks, setting money aside for yearly costs. Facts about paychecks and payroll are checked against public sources before they're published. Mistakes can still happen; if you spot one, please tell us.
What this is not
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, legal or credit advice, and it can't account for your situation. Betty doesn't recommend investments, financial products, lenders, cards or apps, and she can't fix a credit score or settle a debt. We don't promise any savings or results.
- Tax withholding: the IRS Tax Withholding Estimator (irs.gov/w4app), your payroll or HR office, or a tax professional.
- Debt you can't manage: a nonprofit credit counselor (nfcc.org). Be careful with anyone who charges fees before settling a debt.
- Help with rent, utilities or food: dial 211 or visit 211.org.
